Surface preparation

The surface must be smooth, clean, dry without dust, oils, rust, loose or foreign materials.

Application

STEGANOL is applied cold with a brush, brush, roller or spray gun. The pre-coating (priming) needs a 20% dilution with gasoline. For waterproofing, a coating is applied, diluted 10% with gasoline. For a stronger protective film and with a longer duration in time, a second application with a 10% dilution with gasoline is recommended, after the first one dries well. After 24 hours, apply with SILVER BITUME to protect STEGANOL from the sun's ultraviolet rays and rapid aging.

CAUTION: It is affected by petroleum products. It is not applied to surfaces of polystyrene products (expanded or extruded) because it contains organic solvents.
